Genre: Sanju is a biographical drama movie that falls under the category of Bollywood film. Rajkumar Hirani is the director, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the producer. Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, and Anushka Sharma are the stars of the June 29, 2018, release.
Anushka Sharma plays a biographer who Sanjay Dutt hires to assist him write his biography at the beginning of the movie. The biographer is cautious at first, but after Sanjay Dutt convinces her, she agrees to meet him. Sanjay Dutt begins telling the biographer about his life, and the movie is broken up into many segments that each focus on a different period of his life.
Sanjay Dutt's relationship with his father, Sunil Dutt, who is portrayed in the movie by Paresh Rawal, a well-known actor and politician, is highlighted in the picture. It shows how Sunil Dutt, in spite of his shortcomings and errors, was always there for his kid. Sanjay Dutt's drug addiction and recovery are also shown in the film.
Strengths: - The movie's storyline is one of its best strengths. The movie moves along at a good clip and keeps the viewer interested. The film's emotional depth is boosted by the timing of the humour. The performances, especially those of Ranbir Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, are a key asset of the movie. The movie also features some catchy tunes and dialogue.
Weaknesses: - Sanjay Dutt's attempt to be positively portrayed in the movie despite his role in the Mumbai bomb blasts case is one of the movie's flaws. The movie skips over some of Sanjay Dutt's life's most controversial aspects, according to several critics. The lack of character development for some of the characters, including Sonam Kapoor's, is another flaw.
Recommendation:- I strongly recommend watching "Sanju" if you enjoy biographical dramas or Bollywood films. The film offers an interesting and touching glimpse into the life of one of Bollywood's most popular stars.
